Ashely and Nicholas Beaudoin, owners, moved from Sebastopol, CA to raise their children in a clean safe environment that would encourage the outdoor life style they love so much.
Ashley Beaudoin, co-owner and managing member, started learning hydroponics in 2000 when she and Nicholas met and moved to Ashland, OR. She has worked for a hydroponics store in Richmond, CA (Hydro-Tek) for one year in 2003-2004 and General Hydorponics used her for trade shows accross the US and Canada from 2003-2005. Ashley has learned nearly all there is to know about hydroponics and the products sold in Bend's Indoor Garden Station. She is a great person with a wonderful smile to greet everyone who walks in.
Nicholas Beaudoin, co-owner and managing member, started using hydroponics growing methods while attending COCC in 1999. Being a college student, he needed a way to keep the refrigerator full of good food, not Roman noodles and mac and cheese. In 2000, Nicholas moved to Ashland to finish a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Southern Oregon University.
Immedietly after college, he started working for General Hydroponics in Sebastopol, CA. It was there that Nicholas developed an understanding of hydorponics and indoor gardening in depth. That is where he earned what we like to call at B.I.G.S. a Hydorponics PHD, something that could not be learned in the class room.
Answering questions for two years at trade shows, hydroponic or indoor gardening stores (Nicholas visited over 400 stores across the US and Canada), on the phone and over email, gave Nicholas the opportunity to learn about and fix nearly every plant or plant growing environment problem imaginable. Now with more than three years working in the retail store Nichoals has even more knowledge and has kept up on al the new products that come out each year. Bend's Indoor Garden Station is located in Century Villiage across from Liberty Bank and Ray's Supermarket in Bend Oregon's west side.
